Mai Tai Frit Burst Bottle Topper
The patterns you see in the pieces in the Frit Burst Collection are created by embedding pieces of crushed colored glass called "frit" in clear borosilicate glass. By repeatedly heating and pressing the glass in a torch flame the color blossoms into organic bursts and swirls.
All bottletoppers at Rowan Studios are made using stainless steel bases with a rubber gasket. They can be used to bottle anything including wine, liquor, olive oil and vinegar. The stopper will not oxidize, pit or corrode. The Disc Bottletoppers are 4” in length. The glass cabachon set in the stopper is 25mm in diameter.
